Independent filmmaker Devin Thomas made his debut as a writer-director with Peninsula Nights. Released on June 8, 2024, the movie was a success, making waves in the American independent film scene.

 

Made with a one-man crew — Thomas himself — the film was shot over the course of eight months on free evenings with close collaborators Stephen Ray Thomas and Christine VonRobarie. Against all odds, they created a movie that blends romance, emotional intelligence, and philosophy all into one.
